As Brisbane prepares for 2032, this team has been formed to provide valuable advice about BlueScope’s range of steel products and their effective application in the buildings and infrastructure of the future.
The BlueScope Steel Solutions Team brings together local knowledge of Queensland, with the technical expertise of BlueScope, to support architects and specifiers as they deliver the next generation of landmark projects.

Sheree plays a leading role in BlueScope’s collaboration on major projects associated with the Olympics, working closely with architects, specifiers, and project partners to help bring Queensland’s next generation of landmark developments to life. With nearly two decades of experience in government relations, stakeholder engagement, and industry leadership, she focuses on strengthening local supply chains and supporting projects that will leave a lasting legacy.
Duygu Tany
Specification Manager – Queensland
As part of BlueScope’s national specification team, Duygu supports architects and designers across Queensland in specifying steel framing, roofing, and walling materials made from BlueScope steel. With more than 17 years of experience spanning architecture, product management, and business development, she combines technical understanding with design insight to help deliver exceptional project outcomes.
Kaela Turgeon
Colour & Design Consultant – Queensland
Kaela brings more than 20 years of design experience to her role as Colour & Design Consultant at BlueScope. She collaborates with architects and designers to translate trend research and design thinking into practical, inspiring colour palettes for projects featuring COLORBOND® steel. Her expertise helps connect architectural intent with the surrounding environment, creating cohesive and enduring design outcomes.
Rob Danis
National Business Development Lead – Infrastructure
Rob specialises in engineering solutions for road, rail, and bridge infrastructure, as well as high-rise residential and commercial projects. His work focuses on helping bridge stakeholders select durable and sustainable steel solutions – including BlueScope REDCOR® weathering steel – to deliver long-lasting infrastructure with reduced maintenance. Rob’s expertise supports design teams in making informed material choices from the outset.
Spiros Dallas
National Engineer Business Development
With more than 35 years of experience in steel construction and engineering, Spiros supports the efficient delivery of multistorey and infrastructure projects using steel-framed solutions. He works with design teams early in the process to identify practical, cost-effective approaches that enhance structural efficiency and design excellence. Spiros holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Structural) and is a Fellow of Engineers Australia.
