GALVASPAN® steel

GALVASPAN® steel is a hot-dipped zinc-coated structural steel for commercial and industrial buildings that is typically rollformed into purlins.

Made with a high-tensile steel substrate and available in Z350 and Z450 coating classes, GALVASPAN® steel is strong, durable and highly corrosion resistant. It is available with a guaranteed minimum yield strength of 450MPa, 500MPa or 550MPa across a range of thicknesses.

GALVASPAN® steel is strong, durable and backed by BlueScope warranties1, providing peace of mind. A 10-year warranty may be available from the date of installation against corrosion to structural failure, when used within the building envelope (not exposed to external environment).

GALVASPAN® steel conforms to the relevant Australian Standards AS/NZS 1365:1996 (R2016) and AS 1397:2021.
